The technical parameters of corundum refractory bricks mainly include bulk density, compressive strength, bending strength, thermal shock resistance, and thermal conductivity. The bulk density of corundum refractory bricks is usually above 3.2g/cm3. The compressive strength and bending strength are generally above 70 MPa and 13 MPa, respectively. The thermal shock resistance of corundum refractory bricks is better than other refractory materials, with a thermal shock cycle of about 20 times at 1100℃. The thermal conductivity of corundum refractory bricks is low, which can effectively prevent heat loss and reduce energy consumption.

Corundum refractory bricks are made of high-purity alumina powder and high-quality refractory clay or sillimanite as the main raw materials. The production process includes crushing, grinding, mixing, forming, drying, firing and inspection. The firing temperature of corundum refractory bricks is usually above 1750℃, and the firing time is about 60 hours. The sintering process can promote the formation of mullite and corundum, and improve the strength and thermal shock resistance of corundum refractory bricks.
