Clay special-shaped brick furnace cover brick
Clay brick is a common kind of refractory brick, and its Al2O3 content is about 30%-48%. Clay bricks are made of refractory clay or kaolin and clay clinker combined with bonded clay, shaped by semi-dry method or plastic method, and fired at a temperature of 1250-1420 ℃. The refractoriness of clay bricks is generally 1580℃-1750℃, and the softening temperature under load is 1250℃-1450℃. Common clay bricks include national standard clay bricks and clay bricks for hot blast stoves.

Uses of clay bricks:

Clay brick classification
1. According to the content of Al2O3, it is divided into first class > 40%, second class > 35%, third class > 30%; the corresponding refractoriness is 1730 ° C, 1670 ° C and 1610 ° C.
2. According to the use, it is divided into professional clay bricks (clay bricks for blast furnaces, clay bricks for glass kilns, clay bricks for hot blast stoves) and ordinary clay bricks.
3. According to the density, it is divided into ordinary clay bricks and dense clay bricks.
4. According to the shape, it is divided into standard clay bricks, special-shaped clay bricks, and special-shaped clay bricks.
5. According to the variety, it is divided into ordinary clay bricks, multi-clinker clay bricks and all-raw clay bricks. Its mineral phase composition is generally mullite, cristobalite, quartz and glass phases.
